About Me
Hi! My name is Marion Mehrer and I have suffered from chronic pain for the past 10 years.
I am a 51 year old, 105 lb, 5’ 2” female with a medical background and a doctorate in Podiatric Medicine.
I am happily married and a mother of one wonderful teenage son! I was unlucky enough to be in 3 car accidents within a
5 year period (from 1998 to 2003). The 1st being the most dramatic impacting my neck, low back, left shoulder,
left thigh and left knee. The subsequent accidents caused additional damage to my low back and neck plus a problem with my right shoulder!
My current condition includes: facet syndrome in my neck, fusion at C5-C6, herniated disc above & below the fusion (caused by fusion) in my neck and in my low back I have 2 herniated discs and sciatica. I was, and still am, lucky enough to have my own health insurance and the opportunity to experience many different types of treatments & doctors, ranging from healing herbs to all the many accepted practices of modern medicine. After 10 years I feel that I’ve finally found a way to manage my chronic pain and live an active and normal life.
